Its pumpkin carving time at Dreams With Wings!!

A "sea of pumpkins"
This week is traditionally one of the busiest times of the year here at Dreams. Tuesday morning starts with pumpkin picking at Gallreins Farms and continues until we reach the magic number, 1000. By Wednesday afternoon the pumpkins will have made the trip from Shelbyville to our Day Program in the Highlands. The carving begins around 3pm on Wednesday till around 8pm, and resumes Thursday morning at 9am till the last Jack O’ Lantern is carved. Volunteers are still needed. Friday is an adventure all in its self. A human chain is formed and the pumpkins are moved from the lower level of our Day Program unto a trailer for their short ride to Bellarmine University. At dusk all 1000 Jack O’ Lanterns will be lit to add a warm glow to Dreams With Wings 9th Annual Jack O’ Lantern Stroll. All are welcome!!
